In January 2011 A Broader View hosted 12 students from the University of Dayton in Belize.  Volunteering at the orphanage was an eye opener for many of the students, some of whom have never traveled outside of the USA. During their one week project the group worked incredibility hard and really made a strong impact by completing the green house project,  assisting with the new planting schedule, and also painting a mural on the little girls dorm room.

Time was also spent with the children playing games like basketball, and other fun times with the children. While rooming on-site together at the orphanage campus, the group was able to spent ample quality time together and really bond during their Belize orphanage program.  A Broader View was thrilled with their dedication and results of their hard work.  We are also happy to say the University of Dayton group will be returning to Belize in January 2012!

“We are interested in sending another group with A Broader View in January 2012 to Belize”.  Our last group had such a positive experience, we would love to do it again.
