I’ve been meaning to write you for a week now but am still trying to get back into a routine after our October snow storm last month. We were without power for 8 days and had 4-5 trees along with many limbs come down in our yard which we’ve been cleaning up ourselves. Fortunately, none of the trees or large limbs landed on our house and we’ve just had to deal with cleaning up all the brush and debris as well as cutting up the trees. It’s been a long 2 weeks but we’re almost done!
Anyway, i wanted to write to tell you how very pleased we were with A Broader View and Kristi’s recent trip to Cuzco, Peru. She had a fabulous trip and came back with many stories and memories to share with us. As she said, she learned more in her 3 months in Peru than she would have in a year of high school!! As her mother, i was so grateful for the always prompt communication and responses you gave to my numerous questions. It was, without a doubt, a wonderful experience in all respects!
If you ever have a potential volunteer (or a protective mother, like myself!) that has any questions or concerns about ABV Kristi and/or i would be happy to speak with them and give you the excellent recommendation that you deserve. Gretty and Doris were wonderful to Kristi while she was in Peru and, from the day Kristi arrived in Peru, I knew that Kristi would be well looked after.
Thank you again for all you did to make this such a rewarding experience for a 17 year old girl!
